Here comes the showdown.
And once again the writers of the news don't get it or they do get it and just seek out quotes and use spin that paints their picture. I really fascinated with that question; Do they get it? An example in this article is the "outrage" from R's and D's about using this as a political pawn. It is the homosexual community that made this a political issue by pushing the marriage issue at this time. Bush has to respond now or never. Plus, he does not know that the outcome of his moves. Endorsing this amendment could sink his campaign just as easily; depends on the minds of the voters. And the outrage exhibited in this article tells me that pro-homosexual marriage people are worried. Also, look at the headline of this article; it is a perfect example of the source of my frustration. Bush is not moving to ban homosexual marriage, he wantst define and protect what marriage is today.

It Had To Happen.

MSN Entertainment - News - Barbie and Ken 'Split'

Marriage is being shoved out the back door as fast as "they" can shoo it away. Barbie & Ken being the air-head, non-committal, celebs that they are; call it quits. At least they had not married earlier and now would be facing a divorce.
